Contacted Ben to arrange a quote, Ben came round talked me through the process, sent me links to apply through the council. Bens quote was very competitive so decided to go with him. Ben said his team would be there at 7am to commence the work, they all arrived at 7 on the dot!!! They removed the tree within a day, chopped the wood up for me and stored it under the house, cleared all the branches and leaves up and left the yard like know one had been there!! Unbelievable service and great value!! Just wish I had more trees to cut down for him, super professional from start to finish! Best on the Coast by a like stretch!!!
Ben and his team provided an incredible service. They were appointed by our insurer to help when a tree had fallen on our home, and they couldn’t have been more prompt in attending our house and making it safe, and seamlessly managed everything from cranes to Ausgrid (above and beyond call of duty) to have the tree removed. Ben quoted my job promptly and the cost came in slightly below another quote I’d been given. He was also able to fit my tree removal in the following week. The guys that came were just as friendly and polite as Ben. Both trees were extremely close to my house but they removed them expertly and carefully. They also cleaned up after the job was finished and without me even asking they also took away some of the loose branches I’d left in my driveway from other trees in my yard. Nice to deal with such lovely guys who showed appreciation for being given the work. I’d highly recommend Ben and his team and will definitely use them again if needed.
We were unsure how to achieve move sun into our property as we didn't want to cut many of the trees. Ben not only provided a reasonable quote but also gave us advise what we should trim, what we should cut and how to achieve the desired result.

We had a fantastic experience with Ben and his hard working team. From our initial consult to job completion everything was smooth and professional.
They fitted us in fast due to a dangerous broken tree branch that was unsafe. Their price came in lower than three other much higher quotes we received and his team arrived on time, removed the dangerous tree and afew others that we agreed to and ground down afew stumps.
Ben also suggested he could dispose of the excess cuttings we had piled in our garden with no extra cost. The team manager Vern was polite and friendly making sure we were kept updated on their progress. The team worked very efficiently and had the jobs completed on time and left our garden tidy and removed all the waste.

Ben started Ben Hastings Tree Service in 2015. He still comes out to look at most jobs himself, and he's the one you'll talk to about the plan and the price.
Everyone on the team is trained in arboriculture, and every job runs to WHS and SWMS procedures. Safety comes first, for your house and for the crew.

Do I pay anything up front?
No. Ben Hastings Tree Service doesn't ask for money up front. You pay once the work is finished.
Can you come out after a storm?
Yes. We're open 24 hours for storm damage and emergency work, so call the mobile any time.
Do I need council approval to remove a tree?
Often, yes. Central Coast Council has rules on which trees need a permit, so check before any tree comes down. Ask Ben about it when he quotes.
What happens to the branches and wood?
Branches go through the chipper on site. The wood can be cut into rounds and stacked for you, or taken away.
Do you remove palms?
Yes. Palms are one of our most common jobs, from cleaning off dead fronds to taking out several big palms in a day.
