Ben Hastings Tree Service is a locally owned business on the Central Coast. Ben set it up in 2015, and he still quotes the jobs and talks each customer through the plan.
Safety comes first, whatever the size of the job. Every job starts with a look at the tree and the site, so the team turns up with the right gear and a clear plan.
The equipment is our own: an all-terrain 4WD truck that carries an 18 cubic metre mulch bin, an excavator, two high capacity chippers and two stump grinders. For the biggest trees, Ben brings in a crane.
The team is trained in arboriculture and follows WHS and SWMS procedures. The business carries $20 million public liability and workers compensation cover.
There's no deposit to pay. Ben sends the bill once the job is done and you're happy with it.

Contacted Ben to arrange a quote, Ben came round talked me through the process, sent me links to apply through the council. Bens quote was very competitive so decided to go with him. Ben said his team would be there at 7am to commence the work, they all arrived at 7 on the dot!!! They removed the tree within a day, chopped the wood up for me and stored it under the house, cleared all the branches and leaves up and left the yard like know one had been there!! Ben and his team provided an incredible service. They were appointed by our insurer to help when a tree had fallen on our home, and they couldn’t have been more prompt in attending our house and making it safe, and seamlessly managed everything from cranes to Ausgrid (above and beyond call of duty) to have the tree removed. Ben quoted my job promptly and the cost came in slightly below another quote I’d been given. He was also able to fit my tree removal in the following week. The guys that came were just as friendly and polite as Ben. Both trees were extremely close to my house but they removed them expertly and carefully. They also cleaned up after the job was finished and without me even asking they also took away some of the loose branches I’d left in my driveway from other trees in my yard. Nice to deal with such lovely guys who showed appreciation for being given the work. I’d highly recommend Ben and his team and will definitely use them again if needed.
We were unsure how to achieve move sun into our property as we didn't want to cut many of the trees. Ben not only provided a reasonable quote but also gave us advise what we should trim, what we should cut and how to achieve the desired result.

We had a fantastic experience with Ben and his hard working team. From our initial consult to job completion everything was smooth and professional.
They fitted us in fast due to a dangerous broken tree branch that was unsafe. Their price came in lower than three other much higher quotes we received and his team arrived on time, removed the dangerous tree and afew others that we agreed to and ground down afew stumps.
Ben also suggested he could dispose of the excess cuttings we had piled in our garden with no extra cost. The team manager Vern was polite and friendly making sure we were kept updated on their progress. The team worked very efficiently and had the jobs completed on time and left our garden tidy and removed all the waste.
